Social Media Stays Private

Under HB 5523, also sponsored by Rep. Aric Nesbitt, employers could not request the passwords of potential or current employees to social media sites. The legislation had its second hearing I the House Energy & Technology Committee this week at which time it was passed nearly unanimously by the group.
